Todoist lets users not only schedule tasks for every day or every week but also lets you repeat tasks for any time interval you can think of. I can schedule tasks in the future, especially those that I want to do consistently (like blogging). As someone who recently read Atomic Habits by James Clear, setting up recurring habits is a crucial part of my daily workflow.

And the macOS app offers a great central hub where you can more easily see an overview of all your tasks and projects. You can even plug it into other apps – like Spark – or add widgets to your iPhone (or iPad’s) Home screen. But trust me: Todoist is the best GTD app out there. I used Reminders for years, dabbled with Microsoft Todo ( née Wunderlist) and even dipped my toes in the waters of OmniFocus.
